Customise your Memorial Candles with Candle Makers by adding photos, names, and phrases for that personal touch.

The ritual of lighting a candle to pay tribute to a 'passed' loved one's life has been around for a long time. Lighting and keeping a candle burning in remembrance signifies that the memory of our loved one's still live on and burns bright. It is a ritual that promotes reflection and signifies remembrance.

It can be traced back to ancient pagan rites and the beginning of Christianity, as we know it. Light is considered pure, it dispels darkness, it nourishes life, and illuminates everything. As such light became a befitting symbol for God, the ‘Blessed Savior’, as referred to in the bible as “the light of the world” [John 8:12].

Your memorial candle can be a great way to celebrate a loved one's life lost, and comfort to loved ones and family. The ritual of remembrance can be perpetuated and a candle lit each day could ease the pain of loss.
